Boston Hotel Rates Rank Most Expensive In Country

BOSTON (CBS) - The city of Boston has the most expensive hotel rates in the country according to a new survey by CheapHotels.org.

The website looked at average rates for each city's cheapest available double room during the month of October. The hotels in consideration were all ranked three stars or higher.

Boston's $242 average came in above New York City's $226 average. Nashville, San Francisco and Austin rounded out the top five.

The two cheapest cities were Las Vegas and Orlando, coming in at less than $50.
