Red Sox-Rays ALDS Predictions
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Red Sox are back in the playoffs for the first time in four years, taking on the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS.
The Red Sox and Rays are familiar foes, with Boston taking 12 of the 19 regular season matchups this season. But all of that means little in the postseason.
The series gets underway on Friday with Jon Lester (15-8, 3.75 ERA) on the hill for Boston, opposed by Tampa ace Matt Moore (17-4, 3.29 ERA).
