Woman Struck, Killed By Train In Beverly
BEVERLY, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say a woman has been struck and killed by a commuter rail train in Beverly.
MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo says the woman was trespassing on the tracks in a wooded area between the Prides Crossing and Montserrat stations at about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday when she was struck.
He says there are no stations of crossings in the area.
The inbound train to North Station was coming from Rockport.
