Felger and Massarotti opened the discussing tonight’s American League Wild Card game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Indians. The winner of tonight’s game will play the Boston Red Sox in the ALDS beginning Friday afternoon. Who will Sox fans be rooting for tonight? Do fans want to face former Sox manager Terry Francona in the ALDS? Is Boston’s love affair with Francona over?

In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continue to talk about the potential of an Indians-Red Sox match-up in the ALDS. If the Indians beat the Rays in tonight’s Wild Card game, how will the fans react to Francona’s return to Fenway as an opposing manager in the ALDS? Also, “Terry from Ohio” called in to defend himself. Finally, the guys discuss the Pittsburgh Pirates first appearance in the MLB Playoffs since 1992. The Pirates advanced with a 6-2 win over Dusty Baker’s Cincinnati Reds. Why do Dusty Baker’s teams always choke the way they do?

Paul Perillo of Patriots Football Weekly joined Felger and Massarotti in Hour 3 to discuss the New England Patriots win over the Atlanta Falcons and the injuries the Pats are dealing with. Has the perception of the Patriots changed with the win over the Falcons? How big of a loss will Vince Wilfork be? What is going on with Rob Gronkowski? When will he get back on the field? Does Aqib Talib have a long-term future in New England?

In the fourth and final hour, the guys continued to discuss the potential of a Red Sox-Indians match-up in the ALDS. Would the fans rather face the Indians or the Rays? Do Sox fans want Francona to return to Fenway as the Indians manager for the ALDS? Finally, it’s the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
