Socci On Toucher & Rich: What Does Wilfork Injury Mean For The Patriots?

The Patriots improved to 4-0 with a 30-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night, but along with the win the Pats suffered more injuries.

Vince Wilfork left the game early in the first quarter with is now likely done for the season after suffering a torn Achilles. The team has been so resilient so far this season, what does this injury mean for the Patriots moving forward?

"It means a lot of course," 98.5 The Sports Hub's Patriots play-by-play announcer Bob Socci told Toucher & Rich on Monday morning. "Not having a guy who's a five-time Pro Bowler and I think a six-time captain now. He's been such a great leader on and off the field for this team during his career here and has also been a great player on the field."

Socci believes that the team can continue to do what it did last night and rotate guys in and out throughout a game. Though he does admit that they need to add depth at the position whether they elevate guys from the practice squad or go out and add a body.

The guys moved on to discuss Petyon Manning and the Denver Broncos racking up 52 points against the Eagles. What is more impressive, Manning putting up big numbers with veterans or Tom Brady finding ways to win with rookies?
