Felger & Mazz: September 30, 2013

Felger & Mazz started the day off breaking down the win by the Patriots over the Falcons in Atlanta on Sunday Night Football. The Patriots did suffer more injuries this week and have lost Vince Wilfork for the rest of the season to a torn right Achilles tendon. How will the Pats deal with this new injury? Plus, your calls on the win.

Hour 1

In the second hour the guys discussed tight end Rob Gronkowski and the fact that he didn't travel with the team to Atlanta. Reports were that he was close to returning, but now he's not. What's going on? Does Gronk's father have something to do with his son not playing? Plus, the guys take a Red Sox breather and discuss the possible teams they could face in the first round.

Hour 2

During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys continued to discuss the New England Patriots 30-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons last night. With last night's win, the Patriots are one of the fives undefeated teams left in the NFL. What did we learn about the Pats in last night's win? There are reports that the Patriots and Rob Gronkowski are divided on the tight end's health. Is there a rift between Gronk and the Pats? Does the lack of a run game hurt the Falcons in the Red Zone? In last night's the win, Vince Wilfork went down for year with a torn ACL. How will the Pats replace Wilfork? Does the NFL need to make adjustments to their Instant Replay system? Hour 3

In the fourth and final hour, the Patriots 30-23 win last night over the Falcons was still topic of the day. Felger and Mazz continued to take calls on last night's win. Should the Patriots be looking to lock up Aqib Talib on a long-term deal? Would former Patriots defensive lineman, Richard Seymour, consider returning to New England to fill in for an injured Vince Wilfork? To wrap the day up, we hear the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
