BOSTON (CBS) – Boston is singing a new tune with 75 brightly painted pianos installed in public places. They are tucked in every corner of the city, plus Brookline, Cambridge, and Somerville. Anyone and everyone is invited to play them.

The installment called “Play me I’m Yours” was brought here by the Celebrity Series of Boston, and will remain in place for the next month. People donated the pianos, which are all equipped with tarps to protect from foul weather. They’ll be removed after October 14th. The pianos that survive the elements will be donated again to charities.

For more information, including a map of all the pianos, check out streetpianos.com.
