Patriots' Vollmer Misses Second Straight Day Of Practice

BOSTON (CBS) - New England Patriots offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday with a foot injury, putting his status for Sunday's game in Atlanta in doubt.

Vollmer was one of two Patriots to miss Thursday's session, with special teams captain Matthew Slater (broken wrist) also sitting out.

The Patriots once again listed nine players as "limited" on Thursday's practice report. Both tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Danny Amendola were limited again on Thursday, though it appears Gronkowski is close to making a return.
