The Patriots are 3-0 after a 23-3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past Sunday. Up next for New England is a trip down to Atlanta for a game with the 1-2 Falcons.

Gresh and Zo are joined by Bert Breer of the NFL Network to discuss what that Patriots have done through the first three week of the season and this coming week against the Falcons.

Why does it seem people aren’t giving this defense credit for the performances they put up? The offense isn’t scoring at will, so the defense needs to play better to keep the team in the game and they have been.

Breer pointed out that he thinks it’s good that the defense is being forced to carry the flag early as the offense figures things out because the team is finding out how to win gritty games.
