Helmet Stolen From ‘Fallen Soldier’s Memorial’ In Natick

NATICK (CBS) — Investigators are seeking the public’s help in finding a helmet stolen from a local war memorial, the Natick Police said Monday in a prepared statement.

The helmet was stolen from atop the Fallen Soldier’s Memorial at the Natick VFW. Officials at the VFW believe the helmet was taken just before Sept. 15 and hope public exposure will secure its return.

Natick Police issued the following statement Monday: “We remain hopeful that the person(s) who did this will realize the gravity of the act and return it to the rightful place.”
