BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Bruins will take the ice for their first preseason game on Monday night, and head coach Claude Julien will go with mostly young players in their preseason debut in Montreal.

Julien and the B’s announced their roster early Monday, which includes 13 forwards, seven defenseman and two goaltenders.

Boston’s expected top-line of David Krejci, Milan Lucic and newcomer Jarome Iginla will see some ice time, as will potential “merlot-liners” Daniel Paille and Shawn Thornton. Absent from the lineup is forward Gregory Campbell, who has been skating the last week at Training Camp but doesn’t appear ready for game action.
