Bruins Announce Lineup For Monday's Preseason Opener vs. Canadiens

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins will take the ice for their first preseason game on Monday night, and head coach Claude Julien will go with mostly young players in their preseason debut in Montreal.

Julien and the B's announced their roster early Monday, which includes 13 forwards, seven defenseman and two goaltenders.

Boston's expected top-line of David Krejci, Milan Lucic and newcomer Jarome Iginla will see some ice time, as will potential "merlot-liners" Daniel Paille and Shawn Thornton. Absent from the lineup is forward Gregory Campbell, who has been skating the last week at Training Camp but doesn't appear ready for game action.

Malcolm Subban is one of two goaltenders in the lineup, and could see some action against his brother, Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban.

Here is the full lineup for Monday night's preseason tilt:

Forwards: Anthony Camara, Craig Cunningham, Alex Fallstrom, Rob Flick, Matt Fraser, Jarome Iginla, Nick Johnson, David Krejci, Milan Lucic, Daniel Paille, Carl Soderberg, Ryan Spooner, Shawn Thornton

Defensemen: Matt Bartkowski, Tommy Cross, Torey Krug, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller, Zach Trotman, Ben Youds

Goaltenders: Chad Johnson, Malcolm Subban

Boston will be right back at it again on Tuesday night in Baltimore against the Capitals.
