Danny Amendola Officially Listed As Doubtful Vs. Jets
BOSTON (CBS) -- Several reports surfaced Tuesday saying wide receiver Danny Amendola is "almost certain" to miss Thursday night's game against the Jets, but in the official injury report on Wednesday, there is still a chance.
Amendola is listed as doubtful, which officially means there is at least a 75 percent chance he will not play. Having less than a 25 percent chance of suiting up certainly isn't great, but it's better than "almost certainly" being out.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski is also listed as doubtful, and tight end Zach Sudfeld is listed as questionable, along with wide receiver Aaron Dobson, running back Brandon Bolden and five others. Stevan Ridley, Alfonzo Dennard and Marquice Cole were listed as probable.
For the Jets, wide receiver Jeremy Kerley is out with a concussion, as is Mark Sanchez with his shoulder injury. Eighteen Jets were listed as probable.
