Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury has a non-displaced compression fracture in his right foot, but the team hopes to have him back by the end of the regular season.

Ellsbury first suffered the injury in late August 28, fouling a ball off the foot. He played in seven games after that, but aggravated it further sliding into second base in Friday night’s win over New York.

Gresh and Zo take a closer look at Jacoby Ellsbury’s latest injury.

How will his impending free agency affect if, and when, he returns to action this season?
