Lynn Police Shoot Man Who Grabbed Officer's Gun

Police were called to the King’s Lynne Apartments on Newcastle Street around 11 a.m. for a report of a disturbance.

Two officers spoke to a man inside an apartment and, police say, he began to struggle with them and grabbed one officer’s gun.

The other officer fired his weapon at the man, who was hit once in the midsection, according to police.

The man, who is identified as 30-year-old Denis Reynoso, was taken to the hospital and later died.

Police said it does not appear the man fired off any shots before he was hit.

The officers were not seriously hurt.
