Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins and the guys kicked off the day discussing the New England Patriots. With the Pats season beginning Sunday, what are some the biggest concerns with the team? Are the Patriots a contender for the Super Bowl this year? The guys went on to talk about the release of Tim Tebow. Is this the end of the NFL road for Tebow? Finally, the guys discussed the release of punter Zoltan Mesko.

In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys and Jermaine Wiggins continued to pick through some of the concerns with this year’s Patriots team. Taking a break from the Pats talk, Felger and Mazz play “10 Questions with Wiggy.” Before taking questions for Wiggy from the fans, the guys continue to address the potential concerns for the Patriots.

During Hour 3, Felger and Massarotti changed gears to talk some Boston Red Sox. The Sox sweep the weekend series against the Chicago White Sox. After yesterday’s 3-0 loss to the Detroit Tigers, the Sox have a 5.5 game lead in the American League East. Tonight Jon Lester goes against Tigers, Cy Young Award front-runner, Max Scherzer. Will the Sox and the Tigers be the teams in the American League Championship? Felger and Mazz went on to discuss the Patriots final roster entering the season-opener against the Bills in Buffalo. Finally, the guys talked about Diana Nyad’s swim from Cuba to Florida.

In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz took calls on all the topics they covered today. With the regular season beginning Sunday, are the Patriots Super Bowl contenders? The Sox have a 5.5 game lead in the AL East. Can they stay hot in the final month of the season? Finally, it’s the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
