Exotic Dancer Charged With Sexually Assaulting Two Women At Wareham Party

UPDATE, MARCH 2023: Lapado was found not guilty of all charges in 2015.

WAREHAM, Mass. (AP) — A male exotic dancer hired for a private event at a Wareham home has been charged with sexually assaulting two women at the party.

Police say 31-year-old Patrick Ladapo of Providence, R.I., is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on two counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault and battery.

Ladapo, performing under the stage name Damion, was arrested Wednesday and held overnight.

Police say the alleged assaults took place during his performance Tuesday night.

The women who made the complaints are 27 and 21 years old.

It could not immediately be determined if Ladapo had a lawyer.

Police say Ladapo is employed by Blaze Entertainment in Boston. A man who answered the phone at the company said he had not heard of the arrest and took a message.
