The Red Sox beat the Orioles again on Wednesday night and look to make it a three game sweep on Thursday. After the epic collapse in September of the 2011 season and the 69 win Bobby Valentine season of 2012, it seems fans are still staying away.

Are the last two years still having an affect on Sox fans?

Felger & Mazz started their show off discussing why fans seem to be staying away from this successful team. Tony doesn’t believe in this team yet and think that a lot of people feel the same way. Felger can’t quite believe that fact that it’s because people don’t believe in this team.

The Sox are in first place in the AL East and look look like a legit championship contender. Does it have more to do with the lack of interest in the game of baseball as attendance is down league wide? Is it the lack of superstar power on this roster?

Felger and Massarotti try to figure it out.
