The Patriots have one last preseason game left before they have to trim their roster down to 53.

Former Patriots tight end Christian Fauria, who along with Dan Roche will have the call of Thursday night’s game on WBZ-TV, joined 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich on Wednesday to break down what we should be watching for in the Patriots’ final preseason tilt.

“Adrian Wilson keeps popping up and a lot was made of how long he was in the game last week. Every time I look at the scouting report, Steve Gregory is ahead of him,” Fauria said. “That’s interesting to see. I mean, I don’t want to make too much out of it, but it’s an interesting topic.”

What position are guys battling for and who is going to make it through the cuts?

Is Tom Brady going to play? Should last week’s performance by the offensive line make the Patriots nervous to play their starting quarterback?

Can Ryan Mallett be an actual NFL quarterback and run an offense some day? This conversation led Fauria to discuss his days of playing with bad quarterbacks.
