Man Posing As UPS Driver Forces Way Into Weymouth Home

WEYMOUTH (CBS) --- Police say a man posing as a United Parcel Service worker forced his way into a home and threatened a resident with a hammer before robbing her.

On August 9, a resident got a knock on the door around 10 a.m. and a man identified himself as a UPS driver.

That's when he ordered the woman to the downstairs of the home, broke down a door and stole money.

The man is described as white, 6-feet tall, 170 pounds, dirty blond hair, blue eyes, wearing jeans and a black hoodie.

Police do not believe the attack was random.

If he looks familiar, call Weymouth Police.
