The New England stood still yesterday when the new that Tom Brady injured his knee during joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
While the worst was feared, Brady will be okay, and will reportedly play in tomorrow night’s preseason game against Tampa.
Gresh and Dan Shaughnessy play the “what-if” game. Had Brady’s injury scare been something more serious.
Who would have been the one to get the starts if Brady missed significant time, Ryan Mallett or Tim Tebow? Who would you start if it was your call?
Former Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan joined Gresh and Dan Shaughnessy and the guys hit on all sorts of topics, but tackled the Tom Brady injury first.
They also discussed Tim Tebow being on this Patriots team. Ryan believes that Tebow wouldn’t be around if he didn’t have success in Denver.
The guys also get into the state of the Red Sox, as well as Ryan’s opinion on the UFC, boxing, and other forms of martial arts.
