MBTA Buses Collide Near Ruggles Station

BOSTON (CBS) – Several passengers were injured when two MBTA buses collided near Ruggles station in Roxbury Tuesday afternoon.

Apparently, one bus slammed into another that was stopped at a light. One bus had front-end damage including a broken windshield.

Nine people reported injuries. MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo says the bus was moving slowly at the time and the injuries are described as minor.

It is unclear what caused the accident.
