Money Magazine Names Sharon Best Place To Live In U.S.

BOSTON (CBS) -- Money Magazine is out with its annual best places to live survey and the top spot is in Massachusetts.

Sharon took the number one spot.

Money says it's tops because it's surrounded by a wealth of good jobs in Boston, Providence, R.I. and the Route 128 corridor.

Forty-percent of Sharon remains open space and the magazine says it's also very diverse with seven synagogues, 9 churches and one of New England's biggest mosques.

The median home price in Sharon is $375,000.

Also making the top 50 is Westford at number 11, Shrewsbury at number 15, Merrimack, N.H. at number 23 and Windham, N.H. at number 30.
