BOSTON (CBS) – One of the most popular musicals in years is returning to Boston.
The Tony Award-winning production of ‘Wicked’ kicks off at the Boston Opera House Wednesday night.
The show tells the story of the wicked witch of the west and Glinda the good witch before Dorothy ever made an appearance in Oz.
The set arrived on Tuesday in 15 different tractor trailer trucks.
Crews have been building it since.
Wicked will be at the opera house through September 15th.
