Prosecutors Turn Over Video To Aaron Hernandez's Attorneys

ATTLEBORO (AP) — Prosecutors have given Aaron Hernandez's attorneys surveillance video from outside a Boston nightclub where he and his friend allegedly had a dispute a few days before the friend was killed.

Defense attorney James Sultan says he received a "substantial amount" of material Monday. Prosecutors turned over most of it ahead of a brief court hearing in Massachusetts on preserving the evidence.

Hernandez, the former New England Patriot, has pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of Odin Lloyd, a 27-year-old Boston semi-professional football player whose body was found June 17 near Hernandez's home in North Attleborough, Mass.

Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd's killing because he was upset at him for talking to some people at the club a few nights before Lloyd was killed.
