MBTA Police Report Indecent Assault Outside Fields Corner Station

BOSTON (CBS) – MBTA Transit police are warning passengers after a woman was the victim of an indecent assault.

Thursday around 12:30 a.m., a woman reported that she was attacked outside Fields Corner MBTA station near the busway.

She described her attacker as a muscular black man, approximately 5' 7" tall, 185 lbs, in his late 30's to early 40's with curly short black hair. The suspect spoke mostly Spanish and was wearing a red soccer style jersey with blue and green basketball shorts.

Transit police said that Boston police have had reports of similar incidents in the last week in the Ashmont area of Dorchester. It's unclear whether those incidents were related.
