Child Pulled From Walden Pond

CONCORD (CBS) -- An unresponsive 7-year-old boy was pulled from Walden Pond, Monday afternoon.

Police received a 911 call at 2:26 p.m.

The child was not breathing when he was pulled from the water by a 17-year-old lifeguard, police said.

Police say the child was revived and breathing on his own when he was taken to Emerson Hospital.

State Police are investigating as it happened on state land.

There was no immediate word on the child's condition.
