BOSTON (CBS) — A religious group hosted a prayer service Sunday night for Amy Lord, a 24-year-old South Boston woman who was kidnapped and stabbed to death last week.

Hub Church Boston held the event at Medal of Honor Park in South Boston.

Charlie Dunn, one of the organizers of the event, said on Twitter that the event would “largely focus on prayer for the neighborhood as a whole.”

Lord was forced into her Jeep on Tuesday and driven to five different ATMs in Boston before she was stabbed to death and dumped in the woods at the Stony Brook Reservation in Hyde Park, according to law enforcement officials.

Edwin Alemany, 28, of South Boston, was arrested Wednesday in two other attacks on women in South Boston. He was taken to Bridgewater State Hospital for an evaluation and is considered a “person of interest” in Lord’s killing, according to law enforcement officials.
