Maine Wardens Locate Missing Woman
MOUNT DESERT, Maine (CBS/AP) — Maine game wardens found a woman from England who went missing near her summer home on Mount Desert Island.
Wardens say 81-year-old Janet Post of London walked with two cousins from their home in the town of Mount Desert to the shore of Long Pond. She left to return home but wasn't there when the two men followed minutes later.
On Sunday morning, wardens said they found Post and she was doing well.
Wardens said Post was about a half mile from where she was last seen by her cousins. She stated she inadvertently got off the foot path back to her summer residence.
From that point she made her way to the top of a ridge. She then spent the night in the woods and made her way to the shoreline this morning. Janet needed no medical attention, wardens said.

Meanwhile, wardens are continuing to search for a woman who went missing on the Appalachian Trail. Wardens say 66-year-old Geraldine Largay of Brentwood, Tenn., was supposed to meet her husband last Monday in Wyman Township but never showed up.
