Woman Pushing Baby Carriage Struck And Killed In Lynn

LYNN (CBS) — Police say a man who had been fishing, backed out of his parking space and hit and killed a woman pushing her great-niece in a baby carriage.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Carl Stevens reports

Lynn Police got the call shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the Honda Odyssey hit Kathleen A. McPartland, 60, of Lynn, trapping her beneath the vehicle, just missing the 18-month-old.

The child was taken to North Shore Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

Th Essex County District Attorney’s office says the matter remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
