One Killed, One Injured In Overnight Shooting In Roxbury

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting in Roxbury.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Kim Tunnicliffe reports

One Killed, One Injured In Roxbry Shooting

Investigators say two people were shot in the area of 131 Harold St. at about 1:30 a.m.

One of the victims, who has not yet been identified, was found on Harold Street. He was rushed to Brigham and Woman's Hospital, where he died.

Officers at the scene found a second victim nearby on Holworthy Street.

That victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Boston police detectives report that they are investigating the possibility that the shootings are gang-related and retaliatory in nature.

Boston police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
