Patriots DB Alfonzo Dennard is back in the news after being arrested last week under the suspicion of DUI.
The Patriots were very quick to take a stance on the Aaron Hernandez situation, making the decision to cut him no matter what the chargers were. Of course, those charges turned out to be first degree murder and weapon possession.
Obviously, the charges against Dennard are not as severe, but after assaulting a police officer in a bar fight a year ago, there are red flags with the former Nebraska Cornhusker.
Ben Volin of the Globe reported today that the Pats are sticking with the troubled corner, and Dennard will NOT be released.
Did the Patriots make the right decision? Or are they hypocrites after the precedent they set with Aaron Hernandez? Gresh & Albert Breer, who is in for Zo, break it all down.
