Report: Celtics Sign Brazilian Center Vitor Faverani
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Celtics are stocking up on big bodies ahead of the 2013-14 NBA season.
According to Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears, the Celtics have agreed to terms on a three-year deal for Brazilian center Vitor Faverani.
The 25-year-old Faverani averaged 9.3 points and 4.6 rebounds for Spain Valencia Basket in the 2012-13 season.

The 6-11, 260-pounder also played with the Brazil national basketball team and was just 17-years-old when he started playing professional ball in Spain.

Faverani won a title with CB Murcia of the LEB Oro in 2010-11, and has also played in Liga ACB in Spain.
