Police Investigate Whether Body Found In Overturned Car Is Missing NH Woman
NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) -- Authorities are trying to determine whether a body found Saturday inside an overturned car are the remains of a missing Nashua woman.
At 3:31 p.m. Saturday, the Nashua Police Department received a report of a vehicle off the road. The vehicle was found on its roof in heavy vegetation in the area across from 103 Temple St., police said in a prepared statement.
The damaged car was a grey Saab bearing New Hampshire registration 3350437. A body was found in the car, which is registered to Sarah McCormack, 29, of Morgan Street. McCormack has been missing since June 26.
The N.H. Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an investigation to determine the cause and manner of death. At this time, the identity of the body is undetermined.
