Felger and Marc Bertrand kicked off an Agenda Free Friday discussing everything going on in the sports world. Today the trade between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets became official. Did Celtics fans want Paul Pierce to finish his career in Boston? Jerry Thornton of Barstool Sports joined Mike and Marc to talk some New England Patriots and all the news surrounding the team.

In Hour 2, Felger and Bertrand continue an Agenda Free Friday by taking calls on all the topics covered today. Does Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis have a shot at breaking the single-season home run record? The guys also look back on some of the highlights from Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett’s time in Boston. In the short-term, who will Celtics fans miss more? KG or Pierce? Finally, was NBA point guard Baron Davis abducted by aliens?

Chris Gasper of the Boston Globe joined Felger and Bertrand to discuss the Boston Bruins and the contract extensions for Tuukka Rask and Patrice Bergeron. The guys also talked about the Celtics-Nets deal. Do the fans want to see players, like Pierce, finish their career with the teams they started with? Felger, Bertrand, and Gasper also discussed the New England Patriots and players with questionable character.

In the fourth and final hour of an Agenda Free Friday, the guys took calls on everything they covered today. The Boston Red Sox will be in first place at the All Star break. The guys also discussed Sox closer Koji Uehara losing out on the last All Star roster spot. How come Uehara didn’t get the votes? The guys also continued to talk about Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett’s time in Boston. Finally, we hear from Mad Mike and Squeaky Beetle in The Final Word with Marshall Hook.
