Felger and Massarotti kicked off Monday’s show with Marc Bertrand filling in for a vacationing Tony Massarotti. The guys got caught up on a busy long weekend for the Bruins, as Tyler Seguin was sent out of town to the Dallas Stars for a package centered around Loui Eriksson.

Felger and Betrand dissect the deal, wondering what was it that caused the Bruins to deal Seguin? They also debate whether the team got enough for him in return and whether it will ultimately be a good move for the franchise.

In the second hour of Felger and Bertrand, the guys questioned the decision of Nathan Horton to depart Boston for the quiet city life in Columbus.

Robert Kraft also made his first public comments on the record since Aaron Hernandez was arrested for murder last week. The guys went through Kraft’s comments and wondered whether the team knew more about Hernandez’s off field struggles prior to his arrest.

In the third hour of Felger and Bertrand, the guys continue discussing the Aaron Hernandez situation and the latest moves by the Bruins over the weekend.

They also evaluate the Celtics hiring of Brad Stevens late last week. Will he make a difference for the team this upcoming season and how will his hiring affect the future of Rajon Rondo with the Celtics?

The guys also take stock on the latest strong start from John Lackey and bullpen troubles on the Red Sox.

In the final hour of Felger and Bertrand, the guys turn their attention back to Tyler Seguin, who responded to Peter Chiarelli’s comments about him on a conference call with Dallas reporters.

They also continue to discuss Robert Kraft’s comments about the Aaron Hernandez case, and wrap things up with the Final Word with Adam Kaufman.
