3 Men Die In Separate NH Drowning Incidents

BOSCAWEN, N.H. (AP) — Three men have died in separate drowning incidents in New Hampshire.

Fish and Game officials on Sunday recovered the body of 20-year-old Daron Graham, who loved in the Concord village of Penacook. Graham was swimming near the Route 4 bridge over the Merrimack River in Boscawen on Saturday when he went under. Several swimmers tried to reach him but were unable to rescue him due to the fast-moving current.

Also on Saturday, 18-year-old Sheldon Jean-Laurent of Boston's Mattapan neighborhood died about 12 hours after being pulled from the water in Country Pond in Newton.

On Friday, Gary Lacroix of Concord drowned in the Merrimack River in Concord while trying to retrieve an object floating in the water.
