Pedro Martinez Hands Out Ice Cream In Boston
BOSTON (CBS) - Former Red Sox ace Pedro Martinez is used to throwing some heat.
But on Tuesday, he picked a great day to hand out some cool treats instead.
Tuesday marked the kickoff of Good Humor's summer-long "Share The Love" campaign, and who better than the future Hall of Famer to hand out ice cream treats to Bostonians around the city.

Martinez and his ice cream truck hit Copley Place on Tuesday, giving residents a much-needed cool down as temperatures hit the high 90's in Boston.

This was the first of many appearances for Martinez as an ice cream man, and future appearances include July 3's Harborfest and July 7's Chowderfest, both at City all Plaza, and mid-August's Fisherman's Feast in the North End.
