Homicide Victim's Family Says He Was With Aaron Hernandez The Day He Died

BOSTON (CBS) - Relatives of 27-year-old homicide victim Odin Lloyd say he and Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez were friends.

They say they know the two were together early Monday morning. That's around the time the two were spotted on surveillance video together outside Lloyd's Dorchester home, according to WBZ sources.

A law enforcement source tells WBZ NewsRadio 1030 that Hernandez will be charged in connection with Lloyd's death.

But Lloyd's sister, Shaquilla Thibou, says the rest is a mystery. "He's not here to tell me what happened, so somebody has to," she says. "I want to know what happened to my brother."

Lloyd played on a semi-pro football team called the Boston Bandits. According to family members, he dreamed of making it to the NFL. He met Hernandez two years ago through their girlfriends, who are sisters.
