Jack & Marci Williams Endowment Gives $420,000 For Special Needs Adoption
BOSTON (CBS) - The Jack and Marci Williams Endowment for Wednesday's Child has just given another $420,000 in grants to help find homes for special needs children. The money will go to group homes and agencies dealing with these vulnerable children.
Jack created Wednesday's Child in 1981, and its idea has spread throughout the country. He was honored twice in the White house, once by President Reagan and later by President Clinton.
Jack and Marci created their Endowment for Wednesday's Child in 2000 to ensure continued funding for these children. They have given millions of dollars over the years in special grants.
