Finally...

We have finally made it through a day without any downpours...and it was a beauty!  Last night's active front has shifted offshore and drier and pleasant air continues to flow in behind it.  High pressure associated with this wonderful weather will crest over us tomorrow before settling in our coastal waters over the weekend.  This means that we'll have two more days with lots of sun and low humidity along with pleasantly warm temperatures.

Over the weekend, along with even warmer air, higher humidity will build in to Southern New England.  Temps will reach the mid to upper 80s and the sticky feel will make it feel even warmer.  There will also be very small chances for thunderstorms in the afternoons over the weekend.  While the heat and humidity will be present, there won't be much of a trigger...just some small convergence zones...again the storm chances should be small in Southern New England.

Early next week signs are pointing to more serious heat on our doorstep and trying to build in...it's not a guarantee yet but 90 degrees is quite possible.
