The band New England is scheduled to play this Sunday at 10:15 pm on Jay Talking in the WBZ studios.

New England is best known for the song "Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya", which made it into the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979.

The band is doing the set to draw attention to their upcoming gig at the Channel Club reunion concert, scheduled for June 23rd at Club Royale.

The Channel Club was a Boston music venue that was a hub for the music scene in the eighties and early nineties. It was located in the Fort Point area.

Channel reunion show creator Robin Moran says, " The concert is going to be an amazing night featuring Boston rock royalty and Boston music scene movers and shakers."
