The Weekend...
Quick, it stopped raining...run out there and mow the lawn! My lawn literally looks like a jungle...it's on my list of things to do this weekend. Thankfully, we will all get the opportunity to do things outdoors this weekend as the rain will avoid us for the most part this weekend.
Last night's storm is swirling away after leaving behind another two inches for most. Boston picked up 1.8" and the monthly total now stands at 8.4"...sliding this June into the 6th spot for the wettest June ever. Behind the storm, high pressure is building in and that means we catch a break from the rain this weekend. Tomorrow is the weekend pick...a nearly perfect day...sunny and warm with a nice breeze and a high near 80.
The high will slide offshore on Sunday and sun will fade behind clouds in the afternoon. A frontal boundary will be encroaching from the west by the end of the day and there is a small chance for a few showers by the end of the day...close to sunset. But most of the Father's Day will be rain-free!
