The showdown in Chicago for game one of the Stanley Cup Final is the fifth longest game in NHL finals history. It went into three overtimes. It lasted 112 minutes and ended just before 1am. In a city that’s celebrated as many championships as Boston, we’ve seen a lot of late sports games. They can run into the wee hours of the morning.
