CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – A beer honoring slain MIT Police Officer Sean Collier is now available at the Cambridge Brewing Company.
Collier Stout was released Thursday evening and is expected to last at least a week.
CBC says the Irish Stout “was brewed at the request of the MIT Police Department and with the endorsement of the Collier family.”
Collier was killed while on duty three days after the Boston Marathon bombings. Investigators believe the brothers suspected in the bombings shot and killed Collier.
All profits will be donated to the Jimmy Fund which has established a memorial fund in Collier’s honor.
The Cambridge Brewing Company is located at 1 Kendall Square, Building 100 in Cambridge.
