Boston Police Arrest Suspect In String Of McDonald's & Dunkin Donuts Robberies

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston police have arrested a man suspected in a string of robberies at McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts across the city in recent weeks.

Just before 8 a.m. on Saturday, officers arrested Richard Calderon-Colon, 40, of Dorchester in connection with at least five recent robberies.

Officers found Calderon-Colon sleeping in parked car on Ames Street.

Police say other Dunkin Donuts were targeted on Washington, Boston, Morton streets and on Mass. Ave. Two McDonald's were targeted on Washington Streets as well as one on Mass. Ave.

Calderon-Colon is expected to be arraigned Monday in Dorchester District Court.
