BOSTON (CBS) – Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury will miss his fourth straight game Tuesday night when Boston opens a three-game series against the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park.
Ellsbury missed all three games of Boston’s series in New York over the weekend after suffering a groin injury last Thursday night in Philadelphia. Ellsbury injured himself on his team-record setting fifth stolen base of the evening, and has been “day-to-day” since.
