BOSTON (CBS) – Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury will miss his fourth straight game Tuesday night when Boston opens a three-game series against the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park.

Ellsbury missed all three games of Boston’s series in New York over the weekend after suffering a groin injury last Thursday night in Philadelphia. Ellsbury injured himself on his team-record setting fifth stolen base of the evening, and has been “day-to-day” since.

The speedy center fielder was riding five-game hitting streak at the time, going 11-for-23 in that span.

Daniel Nava will bat leadoff once again in Ellsbury’s absence, with Jackie Bradley Jr. starting in center field. Nava is batting .348 over the last seven days with two home runs and eight RBIs.

Here is Boston’s full lineup against Rangers rookie right-hander Justin Grimm (5-3, 3.93 ERA):

1. Daniel Nava, RF

2. Mike Carp, LF

3. Dustin Pedroia, 2B

4. David Ortiz, DH

5. Mike Napoli, 1B

6. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C

7. Stephen Drew, SS

8. Jose Iglesias, 3B

9. Jackie Bradley Jr., CF

Ryan Dempster (2-6, 4.45 ERA) gets the start for Boston, looking for his first win since the beginning of May.
