Another Gem...

Another lovely day with highs in the lower 70s and this great spell will hang around another day before going downhill over the second half of the week.  Tomorrow will be a carbon copy except for the wind direction...still refreshing but this time off the water cooling off some of the beaches in the afternoon.

A storm system will approach later in the day on Thursday spreading showers into Northern New England and clouds in Southern New England.  With the limited sun temps will be a tad cooler near 70.

We continue to head downhill on Friday as a moisture loaded system heads up the Eastern Seaboard from the Gulf of Mexico.  There is a chance that this system takes on tropical characteristics.  Even if it becomes tropical, the wind will be a non-factor...it's all about the rain...and it may be soaking.  The rain will pick up in intensity later on Friday and become heavy at times Friday night before shifting offshore early on Saturday.  There will still be a few lingering showers during the day on Saturday but there will also be many rain-free hours too.  Sunday will be the better of the two weekend days with brighter skies and only a slim chance for a shower.
