Baby Gosling Killed In Possible Hit And Run Crash In Palmer

PALMER (CBS)- Officers in Palmer are looking for a driver who ran over a flock of baby goslings in Palmer on Friday morning, leaving at least one dead.

The incident, which is being investigated as a hit and run happened on Shearer Street in Palmer at about 6:45 a.m. Friday.

Palmer Police and Department of Public Works employees showed up on scene and were able to surround a surviving gosling with their cars to protect it from traffic.

That gosling is now safe and being held at the Monson Small Animal Clinic.

Palmer Animal Control is looking for any information on the incident and asks anyone who may have seen the accident to give them a call.
