The Red Sox lost 3-1 to the Phillies last night at Fenway Park due to a great outing by Cliff Lee.

Red Sox insider Peter Gammons joined 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich to discuss the great performance of Cliff Lee, Jonathan Papelbon returning to Fenway, and Alfredo Aceves.

The guys started off discussing Jonathan Papelbon returning to Fenway as a member of the Phillies and the crowd booing him. Why did fans boo Papelbon when he was so liked as a member of the Red Sox?

They also talked about Phillies ace Cliff Lee and whether or not the Phillies might be willing to deal him at the deadline if they continue this mediocre trend.

Would the Sox express interest if they continue to win and think they can make a push this season? Will Boston be willing to pay and deal the necessary pieces to acquire Lee if given the chance?

They also discussed Alfredo Aceves and whether the Red Sox should look to move the pitcher?
