'Wicked Far Run' Raises Money For Boston Marathon Bombing Victims

BOSTON (CBS) - A former Boston resident and three of his extreme-runner friends finished a three-day trek Sunday from Yankee Stadium to Fenway Park, raising nearly $5,000 for victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Rusty Tolliver lives in Texas now, but he used to work at Marathon Sports on Boylston Street, where one of two bombs exploded four hours into the 117th running of the Boston Marathon on April 15. Three people were killed and more than 260 hurt.

Tolliver said he "couldn't believe it" when he heard about the marathon bombing. "Boston is like my second home. They took me in and treated me well," he said.

The Texas extreme runner and three friends started their 210-mile journey Thursday in New York and completed "The Wicked Far Run" on  Sunday at about noon.
